Hydrostatic Bearing Characteristics Investigation of a Spherical Piston Pair with an Annular Orifice Damper in Spherical Pump

چکیده

The spherical pump is a totally new hydraulic concept, with piston and hydrostatic bearing, in order to eliminate the direct contact between cylinder cover. In this paper, governing Reynolds equation under coordinates has been solved bearing characteristics are systematically investigated. operating sensitivities of proposed respect radius, film beginning angle, ending thickness, temperature, studied. load carrying capacity, pressure drop coefficient, stiffness variation lubricating films, leakage properties, flow rates comprehensively discussed. related findings provide fundamental basis for designing high-efficient multiple conditions. Besides, these results mechanisms can also be utilized design improve other kinds annular orifice damper systems.
